SOAP
SOAP are an award winning cover band from Dunoon, Scotland. They bring a raw energy to their performance and have plenty of bangers up their sleeves to get you singing and dancing along. A SOAP gig is always a memorable night out.
This year they celebrated 10 years as a band by Selling out The Burgh Hall during a very special performance. Since forming in 2015 they have been gigging constantly throughout Scotland with regular slots at The George Hotel Inveraray, The Lorne, Dunoon, The 51st State & La Cantina, The Burgh Bar Dunoon and have had notable support slots with the likes of Brownbear, 80's pop giants ABC and internationally renowned pipe & drum act Clanadonia.
The band have also had slots at well known venues such as the famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow , The Bungalow in Paisley and Gig In The Goil. They have a loyal group of followers that come to every gig.

The band features Kenny McLay (Vocals/Guitar), Callum Newall (Drums), Liam Somerville (Guitar/Vocals), Liam McCabe (Bass) and John Stuart (Keyboard/Vocals).
SOAP are a band with a big focus on giving back to their community.
In 2018 they created STAY FRESH, which has raised more than £44.5k to date and given support to local bands and charities.
Following their work with STAY FRESH and various charity events, this lead the band to winning the 2020 Argyll & Bute Youth Volunteering Award, making it
through as a finalist in the 2022 Young Scot Awards, finalists in the 2023 Argyll And Bute TSI ‘Volunteer Of The Year’ award, receiving a special ‘Highly Commended’ award from Age Scotland in late 2023 and earlier this year won ‘Regional Hero’ - Cowal, at the Argyll &Bute TSI ‘Volunteer Of The Year’ awards 2025.
