Here are the most frequently asked questions, but if you need any more details, follow the links or email us at: stayfreshfestdunoon@gmail.com
When and where is Stay Fresh Festival?
Saturday 19th September 2026
The festival is set in the stunning seaside town of Dunoon on the Cowal peninsula, only 1 hour from Glasgow. The venue is The Queens Hall, 9 Argyll Street, Dunoon, PA237HH, Tel 01369 800500
Ticket information
See our ‘Tickets’ section for purchase information. If purchased online, please provide your digital QR code upon arrival. For tickets purchased from local outlets, wristbands will be provided and should be worn for access to the venue. There is no re-admission without a valid QR code or wristband.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
If tickets are still available, they may be sold on the door. However, we recommend booking in advance as capacity is limited and the festival is likely to sell out.
What time does the festival start and finish?
Doors open at 6.30 pm. We recommend arriving early to avoid queues and make the most of the evening's entertainment. Last entry is strictly 9pm. Music programme ends at approximately 11.30 pm. It can run over and is all dependent on encores etc.
Who’s performing?
Check out the ‘Artists’ page and follow us on Facebook or Instagram for the latest band announcements and the line-up for the festival. Stage times will be confirmed ahead of the event.
Is the festival family-friendly?
Absolutely! With all ages welcome (All Children 14 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times) this is an event the whole family can come along and enjoy. Alongside the music, there will also be a full bar, stalls, raffle, face painting, silent disco and much, much more.
What is the theme this year?
Each year we announce a new theme which plays a part in the festival on-site decor. This year will see The Queens Hall transformed for a ‘Day of the Dead’ celebration, with colour, costumes and plenty of atmosphere. We encourage attendees to dress up to the theme, and you can take part in our fancy dress competition too! This is optional, so don’t feel pressured to spend money on costumes or participation, you can just come along and enjoy the festival fun on the evening.
Is there seating available?
There will be a limited number of tables and chairs within the main hall, with additional seating situated to the side of the hall. All tables and chairs are provided on a ‘first come’ basis, therefore, we cannot offer reserved tables or seating.
We encourage everyone who requires a seat to arrive as early as possible.
Is the festival accessible?
We're committed to making the festival as accessible as possible. Accessible parking, toilets, and viewing areas will be available where applicable. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before the event so we can help.
Will there be cash or card payments?
The bar will accept cash or card payment, but we recommend bringing a small amount of cash for use at the stalls.
What charities and local causes will benefit?
Stay Fresh continues to be a Charity music event with all the profits going towards local and national charities. With almost £45,000 raised to date, we look forward to raising more this year. Details of this year's beneficiaries can be found on our ‘Charities’ section.
Can I volunteer or get involved?
We love support from the local community. If you're interested in volunteering, sponsoring the festival, or becoming a donor, please get in touch via our ‘Sponsors’ section.
Filming and Photography
By entering Stay Fresh Festival, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. All ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.
